Key Responsibilities

Digital Supply Chain Platform Implementation

  • Drive design, deployment, and governance of Demand Planning, Procurement, and Supply Planning tools , ensuring enterprise-level integration with ERP, MES, and manufacturing systems.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of MRP expansion initiatives to align material flow, production scheduling, and capacity management.
  • Establish master data and integration frameworks between planning tools, ERP, and operational shop-floor systems for seamless data synchronization.
  • Introduce cloud-based and AI-enabled planning platforms that support what-if scenario modeling and dynamic replanning.

AI, Analytics, and Optimization

  • Lead the development of AI-driven forecasting engines and inventory optimization algorithms that enhance forecast accuracy, cost efficiency, and service performance.
  • Implement an enterprise inventory optimization tool leveraging AI/ML, statistical modeling, and simulation to balance inventory across global supply nodes.
  • Enable predictive analytics for supply chain risk, lead-time variability, and capacity utilization.
  • Work closely with the AI and Analytics team to operationalize advanced models through digital dashboards and control towers.

Warehouse and Logistics Digitization

  • Deploy Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation technologies to improve efficiency, traceability, and responsiveness in logistics operations.
  • Integrate IoT sensors, barcode/RFID, and digital dashboards for real-time material flow visibility.
  • Lead pilots in smart warehousing and logistics execution , leveraging robotics, vision analytics, or digital twin models for advanced traceability and process improvement.

Integration with Manufacturing and Industry 4.0

  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Digital Team to link supply planning with plant execution systems using Digital Twin , MES , and IoT frameworks.
  • Drive initiatives connecting planning accuracy with shop-floor agility , enabling synchronized supply and production alignment.
  • Enhance data integration between supply chain systems and industrial assets to improve responsiveness, throughput, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Build capabilities for end-to-end visibility — from demand signal to production execution — as part of the Industry 4.0 roadmap.

Transformation Leadership and New Initiatives

  • Lead change management, capability building, and digital adoption within the supply chain function.
  • Champion digitally empowered, analytics-driven planning across regions and product lines.
  • Identify emerging technologies (digital twins, prescriptive analytics, generative AI for scenario planning) and accelerate their adoption through pilots and rapid experimentation.
  • Define benefit realization metrics and track business outcomes from digital investments , including forecast accuracy improvement, inventory optimization, and productivity gains.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Data/Technology, or Business Management.
  • 8–15 years of experience in supply chain planning and transformation , covering demand, supply, and inventory functions in manufacturing industries.
  • Proven experience with planning tools (SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, O9, etc.) , and integration with ERP/MES systems.
  • Strong understanding of digital manufacturing (Industry 4.0) , including IoT platforms, MES, and smart factory initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering AI/ML-based forecasting and optimization projects .
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate across digital, manufacturing, and business functions.
