The Opportunity

As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in delivering safe, reliable and innovative solutions while leading a team who are passionate about engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the electrical engineering team
• Lead by example to deliver high-quality electrical solutions and designs
• Oversee planning, execution and delivery of electrical engineering projects
• Build a strong, connected and inclusive team environment
• Lead electrical system design including EIC equipment
• Keep innovation front-and-centre through modern thinking and emerging tech
• Ensure compliance, safety and reliability across all engineering outputs
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding outcomes

About You

• Bachelor of Engineering
• 10+ years’ experience in the resources or related sectors
• Exposure to PLC/SCADA systems and industrial/substation comms
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and international standards
• Expertise in LV power system, protection, grounding, MCC’s and substation design
• Experience in mining or similar plant operations installation/maintenance
• Excellent communication and client-focused approach
• Proficient in project engineering and Microsoft Office
• Proven Procurement and Contractor engagement and management skills
• Technical knowledge and experience with scoping and proposals for electrical design works
• Eligible to work in Australia
