The Opportunity
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in delivering safe, reliable and innovative solutions while leading a team who are passionate about engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the electrical engineering team
- Lead by example to deliver high-quality electrical solutions and designs
- Oversee planning, execution and delivery of electrical engineering projects
- Build a strong, connected and inclusive team environment
- Lead electrical system design including EIC equipment
- Keep innovation front-and-centre through modern thinking and emerging tech
- Ensure compliance, safety and reliability across all engineering outputs
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding outcomes
About You
- Bachelor of Engineering
- 10+ years’ experience in the resources or related sectors
- Exposure to PLC/SCADA systems and industrial/substation comms
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards and international standards
- Expertise in LV power system, protection, grounding, MCC’s and substation design
- Experience in mining or similar plant operations installation/maintenance
- Excellent communication and client-focused approach
- Proficient in project engineering and Microsoft Office
- Proven Procurement and Contractor engagement and management skills
- Technical knowledge and experience with scoping and proposals for electrical design works
- Eligible to work in Australia
