LEAD EMERGENCY RESPONSE DISPATCHER

Summary You will serve as a Lead Emergency Response Dispatcher in the Emergency Management Department of NAVAL STATION ROTA. Responsibilities You will analyze incoming information in fire, medical, police emergencies to determine course of action. You will relay essential situational information (e.g., characteristics of locations and routes, additional units responding) to emergency responders to prevent confusion and improve reaction time of responding units. You will obtain relevant emergency information (e.g., location of caller, type of fire, nature of medical emergency) for dissemination to appropriate personnel. You will review the work of junior employees to verify effectiveness in achieving intended objectives.
