The Role
Presidio’s Innovation Team is driving the creation of scalable, next-generation solutions that transform business outcomes for clients and internal teams. We are seeking a Lead Engineer (Innovation) who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and a product-oriented mindset.


As a technical leader, you’ll guide engineering initiatives from ideation to deployment, mentor developers, and help shape the architectural vision behind Presidio’s innovation efforts — particularly across cloud and Generative AI domains.


Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the design and delivery of innovative prototypes, accelerators, and products leveraging cloud and AI technologies.

  • Architect scalable and maintainable systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution strategy, scope, and technical approach.

  • Mentor and coach engineers, fostering technical growth and cross-team collaboration.

  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (, GenAI frameworks, automation tools, data services) that enhance Presidio’s offerings.

  • Ensure alignment with organizational standards, engineering best practices, and long-term maintainability.

  • Represent the Innovation Team in technical discussions, client interactions, and demos.

    • Required Skills and Professional Experience

  • + years of software engineering experience, including + years in a technical leadership role.

  • Expertise in one or more core languages: Python, Java, Go, C, or TypeScript.

  • Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC).

  • Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI platforms (OpenAI, Azure AI, Hugging Face, etc.) is a plus.

  • Strong architectural and design-thinking skills with a product development mindset.

  • Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
