Lead Engineer- Telecom

We are seeking an accomplished Lead Engineer – Telecom to oversee the design, engineering, and implementation of advanced telecommunication systems for oil and gas projects. The role requires ensuring strict compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and international codes while delivering reliable and secure communication infrastructure across all project phases. The Lead Engineer will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams—including control, automation, instrumentation, and IT specialists—to provide integrated solutions that support plant operations, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities include preparing detailed engineering documents, reviewing technical specifications, conducting feasibility studies, and resolving complex design challenges. The position also involves managing vendor interfaces, supervising installation and commissioning activities, and ensuring timely project delivery. Expertise in fiber optics, radio systems, satellite communication, VoIP, and industrial networking is essential, along with proficiency in relevant software tools and standards such as IEC, ITU, and API. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while driving innovation in telecommunication solutions for large-scale oil and gas facilities.
