We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Front End Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai, India. As the Lead Front End Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction of our front-end development efforts, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality, scalable web applications.

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Establish best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for front-end development
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level front-end developers
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, performance, and scalability
  • Optimize application performance and improve user experience
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends
  • Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to product roadmap planning
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex front-end issues

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or
  • Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
  • Familiarity with build tools and package managers like Webpack and npm
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience with front-end performance optimization techniques
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and their application in web development
  • Proficiency in using testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and Progressive Web Applications (PWAs)
  • Experience with state management libraries like Redux or MobX

    Position Details: This is a full-time salaried position (40+ hours/week).
