Lead Fullstack Engineer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design robust, scalable web architecture to handle high student traffic, particularly during exam seasons
- Select and justify technology choices balancing performance, cost, and compliance
- Research and compare technologies to build a cost-effective, high-performance stack
- Produce stack justification documents with TCO estimates and performance benchmarks
- Lead full-stack development using selected technologies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting
- Monitor usage and performance metrics, and recommend optimizations
- Negotiate with service providers and manage cloud and API spending
- Define technical hiring criteria and participate in interviews and onboarding
- Mentor contractors or interns, champion code quality, peer reviews, and documentation
