Lead Geophysicist

Responsibilities

• Lead and quality-assure seismic interpretation, including structural and stratigraphic interpretation across exploration and development assets.
• Lead the advance geophysical studies including but not limited to, 3D seismic reprocessing, rock physics, spectral decomposition and AI-machine learning interpretation. Demonstrate the value of information to justify.
• Provide overall technical lead and advise on the geophysical aspect for the team. Provide clear and defensible technical recommendation to management.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams consisting of geologists, geophysicists and reservoir and petroleum engineers on the specific project(s) as mandated by the Subsurface Manager.
• Develop and maintain robust depth conversion models, velocity models and uncertainty envelopes.
• Integrate seismic, well, geological and petrophysical data into coherent subsurface interpretations.
