Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Informatica Developer (Lead) with strong hands-on experience in Informatica Power Exchange CDC, Power Center, and IDMC (CMI-DB & CDI). This role is key in supporting the migration initiative from Power Exchange CDC to Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), ensuring secure, seamless, and high-performance data ingestion pipelines.
The ideal candidate should possess strong ETL migration experience, deep Oracle CDC knowledge, and the ability to lead technical delivery in collaboration with cross-functional data, QA, and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Analysis & Migration
Analyze Power Exchange CDC configurations against Oracle sources.
Understand redo/archive logs and translate into equivalent IDMC CMI-DB configurations.
Collaborate with architects to design end-to-end CDC workflows.
Identify data flow dependencies and migration impacts.
2. Development & Implementation
Develop incremental ingestion & CDC pipelines in IDMC CMI-DB.
Build transformation pipelines via IDMC CDI mappings & tasks.
Configure runtime environments, agents, and secure connectivity.
Perform end-to-end validation, tuning, and troubleshooting.
Support testing and cutover during migration from Power Exchange to IDMC.
3. Administration & Collaboration
Partner with Informatica Admin & DBA teams for connectivity enablement.
Ensure operational continuity and error handling post-migration.
Work with QA, Data Engineering & Business teams for data validation.
4. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
Document pipelines, configurations & migration playbooks.
Publish reference guides for CDC setup, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Participate in internal knowledge-transfer workshops.
✔ Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of ETL development using Informatica Power Exchange, Power Center, and IDMC
Strong experience with:
✓ Power Exchange CDC for Oracle
✓ Oracle redo/archive log extraction & interpretation
✓ IDMC (CMI-DB & CDI) pipeline creation
Strong SQL & PL/SQL experience
Experience with Oracle & MS SQL Server source/targets
Familiarity with Parquet, CSV, JSON formats in ingestion pipelines
Understanding of replication, CDC, real-time ingestion & error handling
Strong analytical & problem-solving capability
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
Informatica IDMC or Power Center certifications
Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP for cloud deployments
Experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or Data Governance
