Job Description
Experience:
12+ years in wireless communication systems with strong expertise in Layer 2 protocols (MAC, RLC, PDCP, SDAP) for 5 G NR.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, development, and optimization of 'L2 protocol stack components' (MAC, RLC, PDCP, SDAP) for 5 G NR for UE Modem Protocol Stack.
* Architect and implement 'high-performance, scalable solutions' ensuring compliance with '3 GPP standards'.
* Drive 'end-to-end design reviews', performance analysis, and enhancements for L2 layers.
* Collaborate with RRC, PHY, and higher-layer teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability.
* Define and maintain 'protocol specifications', design documents, and test plans.
* Analyze and resolve complex issues related to 'data transmission, Qo S, scheduling, and reliability'.
* Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical excellence within the team.
