Library Assistant

The role of library assistant involves assisting patrons in locating and utilizing library resources, managing the circulation desk, and providing excellent customer service.

  • Key responsibilities include:
    - Managing the circulation desk, including checking out/in materials, collecting fines/fees, and processing new library cards
    - Providing exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations for library resources
    - Maintaining organization of library materials using a standardized cataloging system
  • Create engaging displays and programs to promote library resources and services,
