Facility: GSS ND Mandan Sunset Location: 1011 Boundary Street Northwest, Mandan, ND 58554, USA Shift: 12 Hours - Day Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: $21.00 - $31.50 Job Summary The Lead Medication Assistant is vital in ensuring the successful implementation of residents' care plans. In this role, you will: Organize and assign tasks to resident assistants, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Provide age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of adult and geriatric residents. Deliver hands-on care, including support with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and obtaining vital signs. Administer medications as delegated by a licensed nurse according to state regulations. Document care outcomes, medication administration, and any notable changes in residents' conditions. Assist with the resident admission process and orientation of new staff. Promote participation in wellness and recreational programs. Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and assist nursing staff as needed. Qualifications Candidates must meet the following qualifications: High school graduate or GED preferred. Minimum age of 18 preferred with six months of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Satisfactory completion of annual competency testing and continuing education (minimum of 12 hours annually as per state regulations). Maintain all necessary certifications, including state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant training. Active certified nursing assistant registration is required within 120 days of hire.
