Purpose: To build and lead a strong mental health and well-being framework across schools, pre-schools, and employee ecosystems by developing proactive interventions, strengthening counselling capabilities, and driving a culture of psychological safety, emotional intelligence, and resilience.
Role and responsibilities
Strategy & Program Development
- Design and implement the group-wide mental health and emotional well-being strategy for students, staff, and employees.
- Develop age-appropriate emotional wellness programs integrated into the curriculum.
- Drive awareness campaigns, mental health days, and proactive interventions across schools and the workplace.
Counselling & Case Management
- Oversee counselling services and provide guidance on complex psychological cases in collaboration with school counsellors and HR teams.
- Establish SOPs for referrals, case documentation, confidentiality protocols, and crisis interventions.
- Support students and employees with behavioural, emotional, and psychological concerns through direct or indirect interventions.
Capacity Building
- Train and mentor school counsellors, teachers, and HR business partners to build a mental health-aware ecosystem.
- Design workshops for educators, employees, and parents to help recognize and support mental health needs.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Liaise with academic teams, school heads, HR, and parent communities to foster a supportive environment.
- Build partnerships with external experts, clinical psychologists, and healthcare organizations.
Monitoring & Impact
- Establish and track key metrics on mental health outcomes, counselling effectiveness, and program reach.
- Stay abreast of global best practices and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Experience and Qualification
Qualifications:
- M.Phil./Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with RCI registration.
Experience:
- 12–14 years of experience, with a blend of school-based counselling, employee wellness, and clinical psychology practice.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and communication skills to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in designing mental health programs at scale.
- Passionate about holistic well-being with a deep understanding of educational and workplace environments.
