Experience : 10 to 15 Years

Qualification : Diploma or Degree Mechanical / Metallurgical or Production Engineering ,

Professional Qualification : ASNT Level 2, PCN Level 2. Shall have proficiency in TOFD/ PAUT , RT

Desirable : Level 3 in various NDT method

Job Description

• Lead NDT team and ensure efficient and cost effective NDT application.
• Perform day to day RT planning for all three shifts according to job priority to get optimum output.
• Preparation and approval of NDT procedures and technique sheet.
• Co – ordination with Production & QC Dept for pre-planning of PAUT/RT and other NDT to avoid delays of priority jobs.
• Give timely information to shop about RT results.
• Co Ordinate with TIPI / Client / Anup QC for timely execution and completion of equipment.
• Ensuring all safety and legal rules and regulations.
• Maintenance and record keeping of all statutory requirements of regulating bodies.
• Responsible for Safe handling of Radiography Device
• Guidance & training to technicians to reduce re-takes.
• Responsible for Safe handling of Radiography Device
• Timely preparation of reports and coordination with TPI for review of films, history charts, & schematic diagram of jobs on time to time.
• Manage team in terms of grooming, motivation, review/ appraisal of performance, identify T&D needs & recommend for the same.
• Guidance & training to technicians to reduce re-takes.
• Basic Understanding of QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) will be preferred
