Role Summary
The Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) provides technical, delivery, solution and engagement leadership across large-scale government Pega programs. The role is accountable for defining enterprise-grade architecture, leading Pega Constellation adaptation, and partnering with senior stakeholders to translate long-term business strategy into effective Pega solutions.
The LSA leads high-performing delivery teams, supports technical delivery across environments (dev/test/prod), defines architecture standards, and ensure high availability, performance and security of the Pega platform and its integrations.
What success looks like in this role
Lead solution architecture and detailed design for Pega applications using Pega ConstellationDefine case, data, integration, and UI design patterns aligned to Constellation and Pega guardrailsPlan and execute Pega platform migrations with minimal business disruptionDesign, implement, and operationalize integrations with external platforms including Kafka (event streaming) , ElasticSearch, REST / SOAP services and enterprise data sourcesDefine and enforce:Application and ruleset layering standardsReuse and framework patternsCI/CD and deployment strategies across multi-environment landscapesConduct architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure authoring quality and consistencyMentor and guide CSSAs, System Architects, and development teamsCollaborate with Product Owners, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams to ensure alignment with business outcomes, security, and compliance requirementsYou will be successful in this role if you have
Led at least one end-to-end Pega Customer Service implementationProven experience driving Pega Constellation implementationDeep understanding of Pega platform internals, integration patterns, and deployment pipelinesThe ability to balance delivery speed with long-term maintainability and upgrade readinessConfidence leading technical discussions with architects, developers, and senior stakeholdersStrong hands-on capability in Pega latest featuresA quality-first mindset with a strong focus on guardrails, reuse, and platform health#LI-ND1
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Mandatory
Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) certification10+ years of hands-on experience delivering large-scale Pega implementationsStrong expertise in:Pega Customer Service and Government solutionsPega Constellation (DX API, Views, Data-driven UI)Enterprise integration (REST, SOAP, RDBMS)Strong experience in:Solution design, estimation, and delivery leadershipMigration of data into Pega based solutionsHandling non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability)Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor teams and influence technical directionExperience in Government environments and Agile delivery methodsExperience leading onshore and offshore delivery teamsDesirable
