Could you be the full-time Product Introduction (PI) Lead Field Engineer in (LOCATION) we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and highly skilled teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful introduction and performance of Alstom products during the PI period. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the PI Customer Site team, Project Engineering team, and Quality team), support technical investigations, and drive reliability growth initiatives, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of diagnosing and resolving technical issues and managing field modifications, but also ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
We’ll look to you for:
Providing technical leadership and support for troubleshooting and repairs
Driving containment actions to prevent issue recurrence
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address technical challenges
Ensuring accurate documentation of failures and events for reliability analysis
Supporting technical reviews and advising on product enhancements
Maintaining and updating product configuration and documentation

Degree in Engineering or Industrial disciplines (Master’s degree is a plus)
Experience or understanding of mechanical or electrical/electronic engineering
Knowledge of railway safety and RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability)
Familiarity with data analytics and problem-solving methodologies
A certification in EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) is mandatory
General railway knowledge or field experience
DFQ (Design for Quality), quality, and audit skills
