Essar Constructions India Limited (ECIL) is the Indian arm of Essar Projects, which focusses on India and the Sub-continent. It also has a multidisciplinary skilled and experienced Engineering & PMC division which provides a comprehensive array of value added technical engineering services, in a structured manner, across diverse sectors. It is fully geared to service global clients by providing end-to-end engineering solutions from feasibility studies and scope documents to design conceptualization, FEED, detailed design, PMC, field engineering, commissioning and start up assistance and also debottlenecking for efficient plant operations.
ECIL is looking out for Lead Planner to be based out of Mumbai.
Job Purpose:
Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules specific to the mechanical scope of work. The role includes coordinating with engineering, procurement, and site teams to track progress, identify delays, and support timely project execution.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed mechanical work schedules for engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction phases.
- Integrate mechanical activities with overall project schedules in coordination with other disciplines.
- Monitor progress of mechanical activities at site and compare with baseline schedule.
- Update project schedules and generate look-ahead plans and progress reports.
- Conduct schedule impact analysis for delays, scope changes, or resource issues.
- Track delivery schedules for mechanical equipment and materials.
- Provide input for progress S-curves, histograms, and dashboards.
- Support the planning team in forecasting and resource leveling.
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, procurement, and construction teams for schedule alignment.
- Participate in review meetings and provide planning insights to the project team.
Qualification:
B. E. / B. Tech. – Mechanical / Civil
Experience:
10-15 years of experience in EPC projects planning & scheduling
Skills:
Candidate should be skilled in planning tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project
