About the Role

Join us as a Senior Process Lead to build, lead, and develop a high‑performing Process Engineering team within a Global Capability Center (GCC). You will drive end‑to‑end process engineering deliverables across Pre‑Basic Engineering, Basic Engineering, and Detail Engineering work packages. This role focuses on PFDs, P&IDs, equipment lists, layout planning, piping, and HSE compliance, while ensuring QA/QC, documentation, and global stakeholder coordination.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional engineering disciplines, align to COMOS, E3D, SAP, and standardize process engineering practices for consistent, high‑quality delivery in a global onshore–offshore model.


Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, mentor, and lead a Process Engineering team in the GCC;
    manage capacity, resourcing, and workload;
    foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Process Engineering Execution
  • Own and oversee PFD and P&ID creation and revision;
    develop equipment lists and specifications for static, rotating, and special equipment;
    provide technical inputto layout planning and piping disciplines;
    prepare plant documentation and manuals for handover.
  • HSE, QA/QC & Compliance
  • Plan and conduct safety reviews/meetings;
    ensure compliance with HSE standards and international codes and standards;
    drive QA/QC rigor across deliverables;
    support construction and commissioning phases.
  • Engineering Coordination & Standards
  • Align with global engineering standards, project specifications, and tools (COMOS, E3D, SAP);
    coordinate with specialized engineers and discipline leads to resolve technical challenges;
    maintain project documentation, status reports, and stakeholder communication.
  • Project Interface & Vendor Support
  • Act as the primary process point of contact;
    coordinate interfaces across disciplines;
    support procurement activities and vendor evaluations for process equipment;
    drive standardization and harmonization of process engineering practices.


Required Skills

  • Deep experience in Process Engineering within petrochemical/process/industrial environments across Pre‑Basic, Basic, and Detail Engineering phases.
  • Hands‑on with PFDs, P&IDs, equipment lists, equipment specifications, layout planning, piping, and process documentation.
  • Familiarity with COMOS, E3D, SAP, project tools, and engineering methodologies;
    strong QA/QC, HSE, and compliance orientation.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a GCC/onshore–offshore delivery model;
    excellent stakeholder management and cross‑discipline coordination.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, mentoring, and problem‑solving skills in global, multicultural environments.


Nice to Have

  • Experience with GCC/GIC setups, international project delivery, and global interface management.
  • Knowledge of HAZOP/HAZID, process safety reviews, and commissioning best practices.
  • Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.G., ASME, API, IEC) and supplier/contract workflows.
  • Exposure to process tools (e.G., Aspen/HYSYS or similar) and documentation control systems.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years in process engineering, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in international projects and cross‑cultural team management.
