Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your manufacturing process expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in defining and implementing manufacturing processes and equipment for new products, ensuring they align with industrial policies, standards, and project requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Production, Quality, and R&D), develop industrial documentation, and estimate manufacturing workloads, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of tasks such as designing macro-processes and validating prototypes, but also support production teams to achieve quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets.
We’ll look to you for:
Gathering and explaining industrial requirements to Engineering during specification and preliminary design phases
Actively participating in product design in co-engineering mode and designing macro-processes based on standard SMP
Preparing for the introduction of new technologies and associated process validation plans
Estimating method times and performing preliminary line balancing
Completing industrial documentation, including industrial data sheets and Industrial Maturity Follow-Up (IMFU)
Developing specifications for industrial means for serial production
Defining workstation layouts while considering ergonomic and EHS rules
Validating product design and industrialization through FAR and FAI processes
Supporting production teams post-serial Go to achieve QCD targets
Participating in R&D programs as an industrial representative
Performing industrial REX on manufacturing processes

Technical education background
Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing engineering, preferably 5 to 10 years in the railway industry
Technical expertise in process engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, and Lean Manufacturing
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, and Configuration follow-up
Proficiency in Quality, EHS standards, and Ergonomics
Knowledge of CAD and PLM tools (e.g., CATIA, DELMIA) and familiarity with IS common tools
Experience with Process FMEA and QRQC methodologies
Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and a logical, organized approach
A team player with a “Team Trust Action” mindset
