Role Summary
Waaree is seeking a dynamic and hands-on transformation leader to spearhead process reengineering and operational excellence across its group businesses. As Lead – Process Transformation Office , you will be responsible for diagnosing, redesigning, and implementing high-impact processes across manufacturing, procurement, projects, sales, marketing, finance, employee experience, among others.
This role will combine technology-enabled process improvement with on-ground change management to drive measurable business impact. The ideal candidate is a structured problem solver with a strong foundation in process excellence, digital tools, and cross-functional execution. You will work directly with business heads and function leaders to drive process design, embed governance mechanisms, and create scalable, auditable workflows.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Diagnostic & Re-design
- Lead end-to-end process mapping to identify process gaps and automation opportunities across functions, including:
- Finance
- Supply Chain
- Sales
- Manufacturing
- Projects
- Design initiatives to streamline process gaps identified and outline measurable KPIs to track impact
2. Change Management & Implementation
- Engage constructively with senior leadership to ensure alignment and obtain sign-off across redesigned processes
- Act as an on-ground change leader to drive adoption of redesigned processes across business units
- Drive process adherence through structured rollout, training, and performance tracking to achieve visible KPI movement
3. Technology-Enabled Process Transformation
- Collaborate with IT, Digital, and ERP teams to implement workflows on ERP and analytics platforms
- Ensure processes are digitally enabled, scalable, and aligned with internal audit and compliance needs
- Identify and deploy AI-led use cases to streamline operations, improve decision-making, and eliminate manual interventions
4. Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Establish governance frameworks for process performance, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Institutionalize dashboards and review mechanisms for leadership visibility and control
- Embed process excellence as a culture across the organization
Qualifications Required
- 6–10 years of total experience, with a strong foundation in process transformation, operational excellence, or digital consulting
- Prior experience in leading cross-functional process redesign or transformation programs in large organizations
- Proven expertise in project governance, SOP development, and ERP system implementation
- Strong analytical, stakeholder (including senior leadership) management, and execution skills
- Engineering / Chartered Accountant background with an MBA from a Tier-1 or equivalent institution
- Strong working knowledge of process diagnostics, automation tools, and performance improvement frameworks
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, energy, EPC, or infrastructure sectors
- Background in management or strategy consulting (Big 4 / Tier-1 firms) with a focus on operations, technology, or transformation
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications for process improvement
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, or other structured improvement methodologies
