Job Description
Licious is seeking a Lead Product Designer, who will drive the design vision, quality, and execution across key product areas at Licious. The role will require partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Business teams to build experiences that balance customer delight, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
This role requires strong craft, systems thinking, and the ability to lead through influence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Reporting to: Head of Product Design
What makes the role meaty?
Design Leadership & Strategy
- Own and drive the design vision across assigned product domains (Consumer, Retail, Supply Chain, or Internal Platforms)
- Translate business and user needs into cohesive experience strategies and design principles
- Advocate for user-centered design while balancing speed, scale, and business priorities
End-to-End Product Design
- Lead design from discovery to delivery: user research, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
- Design intuitive experiences across mobile apps, web, and internal tools
- Ensure consistency, usability, and scalability across products
Systems & Quality
- Contribute to and evolve Licious’ design system, ensuring high visual and interaction quality
- Establish quality benchmarks and review designs to maintain a high bar across teams
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure design intent is preserved in execution
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner deeply with Product Managers to shape problem statements, scope solutions, and define success metrics
- Work closely with Engineering to deliver feasible, scalable designs
- Collaborate with Research, Data, Marketing, and Operations teams to incorporate insights into design decisions
Mentorship & Team Enablement
- Mentor and coach product designers, helping them grow in craft, thinking, and execution
- Provide constructive design feedback and support career development
- Contribute to building a strong design culture at Licious

Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in product design (UX/UI) with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior role
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design across consumer-facing and/or internal products
- Experience working closely with product and engineering teams in agile environments
Skills & Craft
- Strong UX thinking, visual design, and interaction design skills
- Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive experiences
- Comfort designing for scale, systems, and edge cases
- Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma preferred)
Mindset & Collaboration
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to influence without authority and navigate ambiguity
- High ownership, bias for action, and attention to detail
Good to Have
- Experience in consumer brands, food tech, retail, or logistics-heavy businesses
- Exposure to omnichannel or operational products (retail ops, supply chain, fulfillment)
- Experience contributing to or owning design systems
