    The client is a leading organization in the renewable energy sector, operating within solar, wind, hybrid, and energy‑storage projects. They are part of a larger energy business structure and have a dedicated Project Management function focused on planning, execution, budgeting, and governance of utility‑scale renewable projects.

    Job Description

  • Lead planning, scheduling, and project control for solar, wind, hybrid, and storage projects using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, track critical paths, and issue recovery plans for delays.
  • Manage cost planning and budgets, prepare cost estimates, monitor variances, and support invoice validation and contractor negotiations.
  • Monitor on‑ground project progress, track material deliveries, EPC activities, design approvals, and statutory clearances.
  • Drive cross‑functional coordination across Engineering, Procurement, SCM, Finance, Contracts, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Maintain project documentation, including baseline schedules, cost trackers, risk registers, MoMs, and quality compliance records.
  • Prepare MIS and senior‑management reports covering schedule variances, cost variances, risks, and recovery measures.
  • Ensure adherence to QHSE, SOPs, and quality standards, while identifying risks early and driving mitigation actions
  • The Successful Applicant

    A successful Manager - Project Planning and Execution should have:

  • PMP Certification (Mandatory Requirement)
  • Any Graduation or Master. Preferred Engineering background.
  • 10-12 years of project planning & management experience in renewable energy (Solar/Wind/Hybrid/Storage preferred).
  • Strong command of MS Project and/or Primavera (P6) for planning and scheduling.
  • Expertise in project planning methodologies (CPM, PERT, resource planning, baseline management).
  • Strong understanding of BoP components, EPC workflows, site execution processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills for cost modeling, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Knowledge of project costing, cash flow management, and project control systems.
