Lead – Projects (Industrial Automation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor task progress, delivery timelines, site readiness, and engineering completion.
• Coordinate across engineering, design, procurement, production, and service teams for smooth execution.
• Validate PLC, SCADA, HMI, MES, or system configurations before deployment.
• Perform audits on logic, communication, and system architecture to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Troubleshoot system / integration issues during FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
• Act as the first contact point for customers during execution and commissioning phases.
• Escalate major concerns / risks to the Project Manager with actionable inputs.
• Allocate daily work to Project Engineers and track tasks to closure, Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior team members.
• Ensure that all deliverables follow defined ISO/QMS processes.
• Submit consolidated execution status reports to the Project Manager.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, Drives, Industrial Networking, and related systems.
• Good understanding of industrial protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, ControlNet, Device Net, OPC).
• Familiarity with MS Project, MS Visio, MS Office tools.
• Understanding of end-to-end project lifecycle: requirement → design → engineering → FAT → SAT → commissioning.
• Ability to multitask and manage parallel installation / commissioning activities.
• High attention to quality, process discipline, and delivery timelines.

Qualifications:

• Must be a BE (EEE/ECE/E&I) with a strong focus on automation.
• 6–8 years of experience in industrial automation Projects/Turnkey Projects.
• Experience in leading small project teams and mentoring junior engineers.
