Job Description

· Own end-to-end test strategy and planning for assigned APL products and programs, including scope definition, test approach, timelines, and entry/exit criteria.

· Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and regression efforts across APL components, upstream/downstream services, and client workflows, ensuring full coverage of critical business scenarios.

· Design, review, and optimize test assets including test plans, test cases, test data, and traceability to requirements, ensuring repeatability and auditability.

· Coordinate day-to-day QA delivery for your area: task assignment, progress tracking, risk identification, and timely escalation to Product Delivery, Engineering, and QA management.

· Mentor and guide QA analysts on test design, domain knowledge, defect investigation, and best practices, helping to build a strong APL QA bench.

· Drive defect management rigor: triage issues, facilitate defect review with engineering and product teams, ensure clear root cause analysis, and verify fixes through targeted regression.

· Partner with APL Engineering and Product Delivery to understand new features, technical designs, and impacts, translating them into robust test strategies and regression suites.

· Collaborate with automation and performance teams to identify candidates for automation, provide functional expertise, and help maintain a healthy balance between manual and automated coverage.

· Support client-facing testing cycles (e.g., UAT, pilot, parallel runs) by preparing test packs, reproducing client issues, and providing clear evidence and communication.

· Champion QA process and standards within APL: contribute to test process improvements, documentation, checklists, and reusable templates for SIT and regression.

· Ensure compliance with internal controls and quality gates, including documentation, approvals, and sign-offs required for releases into higher environments and production.
