Managerial Responsibilities
  • Governance & Compliance : Ensure adherence to internal cost control frameworks, audit protocols, and financial governance across all post-contract activities.
  • Stakeholder Management : Interface with Development, Finance, and Project Delivery teams to align cost control objectives with project and corporate goals.
  • Team Oversight : Lead and mentor cost engineers or quantity surveyors assigned to post-contract works, ensuring timely reporting and issue resolution.
Direct Functional Responsibilities
  • Cost Monitoring & Reporting : Track actual costs vs. budget across all packages, prepare monthly cost reports, and flag deviations with root‑cause analysis.
  • Change Management : Evaluate and validate contractor claims, variations, and change orders, ensuring alignment with contract terms and budget impact.
