Role Overview We are seeking a Lead SAP BTP & ABAP to drive solution architecture, development, and technical leadership across SAP BTP and core ABAP landscapes. This role requires deep hands-on expertise, strong design skills, and the ability to lead teams while engaging directly with clients. You will play a key role in solution design, development governance, mentoring consultants, and enabling innovation on SAP BTP. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Lead the design and development of solutions on SAP BTP using CAP, RAP, Fiori, and integration services Architect and deliver clean-core compliant ABAP solutions aligned with SAP best practices Define development standards, code quality guidelines, and performance benchmarks SAP BTP & ABAP Development Hands-on development in ABAP (OO ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP) Design and build applications using SAP BTP services such as: SAP CAP (Node.js / Java) SAP Integration Suite (CPI) SAP Fiori (Elements & Freestyle) SAP HANA Cloud SAP Workflow / Business Rules Enable extensions using Side-by-Side and In-App extensibility approaches Solution Architecture & Client Engagement Translate business requirements into scalable SAP architectures Participate in client workshops, technical discussions, and solution walkthroughs Provide effort estimates, technical proposals, and delivery planning support Team & Delivery Leadership Mentor junior and mid-level consultants Conduct code reviews and technical design reviews Support project delivery, risk management, and issue resolution Requirements Required Skills & Experience Must-Have 8+ years of SAP experience with strong ABAP expertise Solid hands-on experience with SAP BTP Expertise in: ABAP OO, CDS, RAP, AMDP SAP Fiori (UI5 / Fiori Elements) SAP Integration (CPI / APIs / OData) Strong understanding of S/4HANA extensibility & clean core principles Experience leading technical teams and client-facing engagements Nice-to-Have SAP CAP (Node.js or Java) development experience Exposure to DevOps on BTP (CI/CD, Git, Transport Management) SAP certifications in ABAP, BTP, or S/4HANA Startup or consulting firm experience What Were Looking For Strong problem-solving and architectural thinking Ownership mindset and ability to work in fast-paced environments Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Passion for building modern SAP solutions Benefits Why Join Kannanware?
