Lead Security Engineer

Techmunity is hiring for an experienced Security Engineer on behalf of a deep-tech startup building foundational AI software for complex, high-consequence industrial environments.

The company has scaled from ~8 to ~32 people in the last year and is now building towards Series A. Their technology is already being deployed in real operational settings, where reliability, safety and trust matter, so security is a core product requirement, not an afterthought.

The mission is climate-critical: they’re building real-world AI that transforms industrial operations, optimising safety, emissions, and performance by unlocking 100% of operational data with a foundation model purpose-built for energy infrastructure. In simple terms, this is AI designed to reduce waste and carbon at the source, inside the systems that run the world.
