Lead ServiceNow Asset Management

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead ServiceNow Asset Management professional with deep expertise outside of ITSM. This role will lead asset reconciliation, budgeting and financial mapping, and third-party integrations, while providing technical leadership and strategic direction. The Lead will partner closely with finance, procurement, and technology stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and scalable asset management solutions across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and governance of ServiceNow Asset Management modules (non-ITSM).
  

• Own and drive asset reconciliation strategies, ensuring consistency and accuracy across multiple data sources and systems.
  

• Lead budgeting, cost allocation, and financial mapping processes related to asset management.
  

• Architect, develop, and oversee third-party integrations with ServiceNow, including hands-on custom development when required.
  

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers and analysts working on ServiceNow Asset Management.
  

• Act as the primary liaison with finance, procurement, and technology teams to align asset data, reporting, and controls.
  

• Establish and enforce data governance, compliance, and quality standards across asset management processes.
  

• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex integration, reconciliation, and data issues, driving root-cause analysis and optimization.
  

• Define best practices, standards, and documentation for asset management and integrations.
  

• Support roadmap planning, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow Asset Management (excluding ITSM).
  

• Strong background in asset reconciliation, budgeting, and financial mapping.
  

• Proven experience leading third-party system integrations with ServiceNow.
  

• Advanced development experience using ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), APIs, REST/SOAP, and integration frameworks.
  

• Deep understanding of asset lifecycle management, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
  

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating ERP, finance, or procurement platforms with ServiceNow.
  

• ServiceNow certifications, especially in Asset Management, Platform Development, or Integration Hub.
  

• Experience working in large-scale, complex enterprise environments.
  

• Prior experience in a Lead, Architect, or Solution Owner role.
