The Service Management Team has an enterprise-wide project where they just went live with their ServiceNow Greenfield Solution which is a consolidation of all of their instances into a singular platform. This is one of RTX’s most high-profile projects and they will be helping with moving from a hyper care phase into handling defects and QA work!

Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ experience as a Senior ServiceNow Developer (experience w/ consolidations) in a large enterprise environmentEnd-to-end development within ServiceNow
  • 5+ years JavaScript, JQuery, protype and Jelly scripting experience in ServiceNow
  • Experience with web technologies including API's / CSS / XML / HTML / Webservices
  • Understanding of how ITIL practices work together to provide effective service product lifecycle and create business value and positive customer outcomes
  • Experience with the SDLC including Requirements Analysis, Design, Installation, Development, Testing (application code and user acceptance), and Deployment 
  • Nice to haves:

  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator
  • ServiceNow Developer Certification
  • Hands-on experience with Flow Designer & Service Catalog Development
  • ITIL Certification 
  • Responsibilities:

  • Developing solution based on business requirements in the RTX ServiceNow platform modules, workflow, and integration possibilities.
  • Review and understand client specific processes and overall performance, identify, and create solutions to improve results, processes and data, while meeting stakeholder goals and expectations.
  • Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, technical solutions, such as client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, scheduled job, import sets and transform maps, ACLs, and notifications
  • Develop existing and custom applications within ServiceNow including integrations with other applications
  • Develop necessary development documentation as needed e.g., project plan, technical design, developer notes, user manual etc.
  • Performs migration activities Dev to QA, QA to Prod.
  • Coordinates installation of ServiceNow upgrades and/or service packs. Develops and manages the preparation of systems, test criteria and control for upgrades, service packs, new functionality, enhancements, or error correction
