Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:

Build the technologies on our Coupa Cloud platform

Developing the building blocks to scale the Coupa Cloud for our growing customer base

Facilitate continuous code deployment/delivery

Provide security and privacy in compliance with global laws and regulations

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Computers or equivalent

10+ years of overall software experience building cloud based massive systems involving applications, services, IaaC, DevOps

6+ years of hands-on development experience using Ruby, Go, C/C++, Java, Python or equivalent. Development experience using OOPS & Design patterns. 

4+ years of experience in taking a software to production. Jenkins, Rundeck automations. Familiarity with operationalizing a software – HA, Autoscaling, DR, Backups, Upgrades. 

2+ years of hands of Infra As A Code IaaC experience. Experience with one of the framework – Chef or Ansible or Puppet.

Extensive knowledge of Cloud/SaaS architecture using AWS/ SoftLayer/ CloudStack/ OpenStack/ Google Cloud Platform a must. 

Experience with agile enterprise application delivery patterns including continuous integration/continuous deployment CI / CD, configuration management (Chef /Puppet /Ansible /SaltStack)

Experience with container technologies including Docker, ECS, and/or Kubernetes

Proficiency with Linux OS a big plus. 

Expert knowledge of agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, & design patterns

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
