Lead Software Engineer – AI & VoIP (Contact Centre Platform)

Location: Bangalore – HSR Layout

Work Mode: Work From Office (5 days a week)

Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST

Experience: 5–9 years

About the Role

We are building a next-generation AI-powered Contact Centre platform combining VoIP, real-time AI, and scalable backend systems. As a Senior Software Engineer – AI & VoIP, you will design and build high-performance systems powering voice communication, automation, and analytics at scale.

This is a hands-on, core engineering role with high ownership and impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain VoIP-based contact centre systems (SIP, RTP, WebRTC).
  • Build scalable backend services for call routing, recording, analytics, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with AI teams to integrate speech-to-text, NLP, and AI automation.
  • Ensure low-latency, high-availability real-time communication systems.
  • Own system architecture, code quality, and production stability.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and on-call support.
Must-Have Skills
  • Strong experience with VoIP technologies: SIP, RTP, WebRTC, Asterisk, FreeSWITCH.
  • Backend development experience using Python / Node.Js / Java / Go.
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices.
  • Strong understanding of networking, concurrency, and system performance.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Docker/Kubernetes.
Good-to-Have
  • Prior experience with Contact Centre or Telephony platforms.
  • Exposure to AI/ML or speech systems.
  • Experience in startup or fast-scaling environme
