Lead Software Engineer (Backend, Cloud & Kubernetes)

We’re seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to provide technical direction and hands‑on leadership to a team of developers as we prepare for launch and scale beyond it.

This role sits between architecture and execution—you’ll set technical direction, unblock the team, and actively contribute code, ensuring quality, stability, and delivery.

What You’ll Do

Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of developers

Define and maintain backend, cloud, and architectural standards

Make and own technical decisions across the platform

Work hands‑on in Java and/or Python

Own and evolve our Kubernetes‑based infrastructure

Ensure production readiness, reliability, and performance

Review code and guide best practices

Partner with product and leadership to align delivery with business goals
