Lead Software Engineer – Technology (London, UK)
Made Tech is building human‑centred technology that improves public services. We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to drive cloud, automation, tooling and culture as a tech lead, architect and mentor across multiple delivery teams.
About the role
We write custom software for local and central government, health and other public sector clients. We deliver outcome‑based solutions using cloud automation, DevOps culture and infrastructure‑as‑code.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach engineering teams to deliver high‑quality, cloud‑native solutions for public sector customers.
- Own architecture, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, scalable deployments on AWS.
- Drive outcome‑based delivery by collaborating with product, design and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning and open communication.
