Job Title: Lead /Sr. Lead Engineer

Function: IEC- Seating (Trims)


Report to: Engineering Manager


Pay Band: 3A/B


Location: Pune, India

Experiance: 9-15 Yrs

Job Description:


Must Have: Trim Engineer would able to independently do following activities,

  • Analyze STO Trimming Feasibility.

  • Propose attachment Strategy for Trims.

  • Responsible for Seat Complete Craftsmanship as per Customer requirements.

  • Trim Consumption Sign off with Supplier and Customer.

  • Product Structuring using PLM, BOM Releases.

  • Manage & Track Trims BOM from RFQ to SOP ensuring profitability to Organization.

  • Able to Conduct Independent Design reviews.

  • Propose Trim CTO and lead for implementation.

  • Coordination with South Plants & Customer

  • Design and development of automotive seat trims with respect to the customer/OEM requirements

  • Interaction with Customer on day to day basis and understand customer process/ procedures and technical requirements, styling, patterns and design

  • Prioritize global best practices, development, drawings creation, standardization, and benchmarking in development process

  • Ensure on-time LPMP deliverables for each phase and quality of deliverables

  • Adherence to global practices of design review, A3, A4, DFA, DFM.

  • Understanding of Trims, Materials.

  • Independently manage Trims Project deliverables and Plant support activities.

  • Analytical skills for Root cause investigation of Problems.

  • Liaison support to all departments, peer members and work in conjunction with CFT for effective product launches and change management.

  • Prepare TGR / TGW for projects under development and implement Lessons learned.

  • Knowledge of Master Trims and CAD Software would be added advantage.

    Qualification:

    BE. M-Tech - Mechanical or Textile Engineering.
