Lead Supply Technician

Summary About the Position: Responsible to provide supply operations support for UH-60 aircraft and ground support equipment in the technical supply section of the U. S. Army Aviation Battalion - Japan. Ordering, turn-in, and exchange of Class IX (Air) repair parts and supplies; Class III purchase/stock of required petroleum oils and lubricants (POL); and coordinating and purchasing local items as necessary. Responsibilities Manages stock levels of bench stock/common hardware items and determines the necessity for items to be added or deleted from stock based on demands and command-supported needs. Identifies and develops program forecasting requirements in support of the United States Army Japan (USARJ) and I Corps (Forward) mission. Advises and initiates actions to ensure material support for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and special projects meet with safety of flight (SOF) compliance.
