Position: Lead Technical Architect – Mobile Applications
Function/Group: Digital & Technology
Location: Mumbai | Shift: Regular | Reports To: Sr. D&T Manager | Work Model: Hybrid

Role Overview:


We are seeking a Lead Technical Architect to define and implement the technical vision for the BTFE mobile application. The role involves designing scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile solutions, guiding development teams, and collaborating cross-functionally to align architecture with business objectives. The architect will drive innovation, mentor engineers, manage technical debt, and ensure production stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, design, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile and cloud solutions.

  • Lead technical strategy, architecture reviews, and innovation discussions.

  • Mentor mid- and junior-level engineers; promote best practices in mobile and cloud development.

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams for aligned delivery.

  • Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage technical debt.

  • Ensure mobile app security and compliance with industry best practices.

  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and production deployment processes.

    • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in mobile app development (iOS/Android/native or cross-platform frameworks like React Native, Flutter, Kotlin, Swift).

  • Strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, RDBMS & NoSQL databases.

  • Proven ability in system design for highly available, fault-tolerant applications.

  • Skilled in API design, DevOps/CI-CD, performance tuning, and observability.

  • Agile experience with excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Familiarity with security best practices, automated testing, and app store deployments.

  • US business hours availability preferred.

    • Preferred Skills:

  • Deep expertise in OOP, SOLID, design patterns, .NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, GCP/Azure.

  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration abilities.

  • Ability to inspire, influence, and deliver impactful results across teams.
