Overall Job Purpose
As part of this exciting transformation role, you will be a part of the Investments Engineering – QA practice and shall be responsible for implementing the Automation roadmap across various Investments Platform squads
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Gain functional understanding of applications within the Investments platform that are part of the test automation scope Implement Test Automation Roadmap across Investments Platform squads Update Automation Roadmap to include/remove applications based on the automation feasibility Understands continuous integration and continuous delivery; capable of building robust, automated testing frameworks through all environments. Able to work and collaborate within a Scrum Squad /Agile Teams consisting of developers, BAs Product Owner to ensure the quality of software products. Provide regular progress updates (RAG) to the stake holders including highlighting of any risks/issues/challenges and possible mitigation actions Communicate the Benefits and Savings achieved through Test Automation in terms of efforts and costs to all stake holders Key Stakeholder Management

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification
Knowledge & Skills:
Confidence & excellent communication: - Able to converse and interact with Product owners Delivery leads and Portfolio leads on Test activities Able to mentor QA engineers in automation activities and assist in resolving automation related issues Front End Automation with Selenium-C#. NET/.NET Core /Playwright using Spec flow framework API Automation for REST APIs with Postman & Rest Assured Automated Database/Back-end Test Automation Integration and running of Automated Test suite within the Azure DevOps pipeline to achieve continuous delivery Experience of Test & Defect Management tools like Jira/Zephyr/HP-ALM/ADO Proficient in SQL Ability to use opensource tools and off shelf tools and open to experiment new tools Proficient in TDD and BDD processes Understanding of Frontend and Backend systems and can-do basic debugging and configuration Excellent analytical abilities and abilities to debug and walkthrough issues Good to Have:
Performance testing experience, Role-Based Security Testing Front-End Automation - Karate UI, UI Path, Cypress, Browserstack Languages - Python, Java, JavaScript, React.js, node.js BDD Frameworks – Cucumber, Karate Test Runners – Junit, Nunit, TestNG ETL API automation using Swagger, Karate API, Playwright. Experience:
10+ Yrs. of Experience in Test Automation which includes Automation Framework design and implementation, building test automation suites and integrating the same with DevOps pipeline
