About the Role
We’re looking for a driven and experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our High Voltage Power (HVP) ACDC Product Line team as part of the Production & Customer Support (PCS) Team. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in fast-paced, technically challenging environments and are passionate about driving excellence in production test development, quality improvement, and cost optimization.
You’ll start as a Lead Test Engineer, owning technical execution and strategy for production and customer support activities, with a strong career pathway toward a Sustaining Manager role as the team scales. This position offers exceptional visibility across product lines, business units, and global test operations, making it a great opportunity for long-term professional growth.
What You’ll Do
Test Development & Release
- Design and release robust test hardware and software for samples, qualification, and production builds (ETS-364, ETS-88, ETS-800 tester platforms).
- Coordinate test release schedules across assembly and test (A/T) sites, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Define and manage test time budgets, maintaining balance between cost and performance.
- Validate solution stability through GRR and TCS analysis, with clear documentation.
- Drive strategies for BU with TTS team for product ramps and enable PPITs for the same
Quality & Reliability Ownership
- Drive customer-return issues to closure, ensuring root cause and corrective actions are fully executed.
- Lead MOS/SOS quality releases and test coverage improvements.
- Collaborate with the CQE and applications teams to develop TCI solutions and address customer feedback.
Cost Optimization & Production Efficiency
- Analyze and propose test cost reduction strategies to improve cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Lead test ramp readiness reviews and update PLM/BU leadership
- Own Spitfire cost-saving updates and ensure consistent reporting.
- Work cross functionally to enable fab, Assy and Test offloads
Qualification & Reliability Testing
- Define qualification plans jointly with QREs including EQDB submissions.
- Develop and support reliability hardware and test vectors (BI/HTOL testing).
- Manage lab coordination, pre-/post-reliability testing, and qualification tracking.
Manufacturing & Flow Setup
- Partner with packaging and production teams to ensure optimal assembly and test efficiency.
- Execute ATSS setups (ARC, MB generation, CDDS loading, etc.), working closely with A/T sites.
- Manage material movement and planning to maintain aggressive cycle times and throughput.
Data Analysis & Yield Optimization
- Analyze characterization, probe, and final test data using Spotfire and Mbayse tools.
- Leverage test data to identify marginalities, drive corrective actions, and improve yield.
- Guide decisions using datasheets, legacy programs, and Starfish references as golden sources.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on ATE experience, preferably on ETS-364.
- Strong proficiency in test development, debug, and data-driven problem solving.
- Proven ability to interface across cross-functional teams (Test, Design/Systems, Quality, Manufacturing, and Product).
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience on multiple ATE platforms including ETS-88 and ETS-800.
- Familiarity with Eagle platform debug and power-device characterization.
- Bench testing and failure analysis experience is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of TI systems (SWR, ATSS, Lab Management tools).
- Strong command over data visualization tools — Spotfire, Mbayse, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, scheduling, and multi-tasking skills.

Additional Information
