Lead VMware Infrastructure Engineer

Initial 12‑month contract in the Perth CBD. Work for a global mining client. Relocation from Eastern states will be considered.

Role

Seeking an experienced VMware Infrastructure Engineer for a 12‑month contract to design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions focusing on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).

Responsibilities

  • Design, implementation and maintenance of VCF solutions
  • Provide expert‑level technical design and configuration of both virtual and physical infrastructure solutions
  • Automate deployment processes, configuration and monitoring to optimize infrastructure operations

Key Experience

  • Extensive experience with VMware and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
  • Expertise with the following VMware products:
    • Aria Suite (VMware Aria Operations, VMware Aria Automation, VMware Aria Operations for Logs)
    • Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
    • vSAN & NSX
    • Hands‑on experience with Dell hardware, particularly VXRail
