The Opportunity

We are looking for aSenior Sourcing Lead, Global Talent Acquisitionto play a critical individual contributor role with a global remit.Reporting to theSenior Director, Global Talent Acquisition, this role combines hands-on sourcing for senior and scarce talent with ownership of sourcingmethodology, standards, and capability uplift across regions.

You will partner closely with Recruitment Managers—whoretainline management responsibility forSourcers—while acting as the functional expert, thought partner, and community lead for sourcing within Global Talent Acquisition.

Roles and Responsibilities

As aSenior Sourcing Lead, you will balance direct requisition delivery with leadership of sourcing excellence across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.

Hands-on Sourcing & Delivery

  • Own and execute a requisition load (approximately 60–70% capacity), focused on senior, niche, and business-critical roles globally.

  • Deliver high-quality, diverse pipelines for hard-to-fill roles through targeted research, market mapping, and proactive engagement.

  • Partner with Recruiters and TA leaders to understand demand, advise on talent availability, challenge hiring profiles, and influence sourcing strategy and channel mix.

  • Sourcing Strategy & Methodology

  • Design, test, and refine sourcing strategies, playbooks, and market maps to enable consistent, high-quality sourcing outcomes.

  • Lead large-scale, multi-region sourcing projects and proactive pipeline initiatives (e.g.future skills and emerging technology talent pools), ensuring both ready-now and ready-later talent.

  • Own global standards for candidate research, prospecting, and engagement quality, including outreach personalisation, follow-up cadences, talent pooling, and silver-medalistre-engagement.

  • Community Leadership & Capability Uplift

  • Lead the global sourcing community by running weekly sourcing forums, sharing best practices, reviewing campaign performance, and piloting new tools, channels, and outreach techniques.

  • Act as functional craft lead forSourcers,providingday-to-day guidance on search strategy, messaging, prospect prioritisation, tooling, and data hygiene.

  • Mentor and upskill peers, influencing sourcing excellence without direct line management responsibility.

  • Data, Insights & Governance

  • Monitor and report sourcing funnel metrics (response rates, conversion, diversity mix, source effectiveness) and translate insights into experiments, training, and process improvements.

  • Ensure high data integrity across ATS and CRM systems, including tagging, status management, and documentation of talent insights for future hiring.

  • Partner with Employer Brand and Marketing (where applicable) on targeted sourcing campaigns, events, and content for priority talent markets.

  • Champion inclusive sourcing practices and proactively build diverse slates and succession pipelines for critical roles.

  • Partnership with Recruitment Managers

  • Partner with Recruitment Managers to provide aligned performance feedback forSourcers, incorporating funnel metrics, sourcing quality, and behavioural expectations.

  • Support structured mid-year and year-end review inputs, ensuring a single, consistent message on performance and development while Recruitment Managersretainaccountability for career progression and compensation.

  • The Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Significant experienceas a SeniorSourcer(or equivalent) within an in-house TA team, with a strongtrack recordfilling senior and hard-to-fill roles across multiple regions.

  • Deep hands-onexpertisein Boolean search, market and org-chart mapping, talent intelligence, and multi-channel sourcing (LinkedIn, GitHub, niche boards, communities, referrals, events).

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to partner with senior stakeholders and advise on market realities, trade-offs, and sourcing focus.

  • Proven ability to influence, coach, and mentor peers, and to lead communities of practice without formal people management authority.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience interpreting funnel metrics, running experiments or A/B testing, and presenting clear, actionable insights.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including crafting compelling outreach and translating complex market insights into practical recommendations.

  • Comfort working across time zones and cultures.

  • High sense of ownership, resilience, and urgency, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.

  • Strong alignment with a senior individual contributor career path, measured on both personal delivery and broader uplift of sourcing capability and outcomes.
