**Lean Engineer Role and Responsibilities**
The CI/Lean Engineer provides coaching and project leadership to all levels of the Manufacturing and Distribution Organizations on the use and practice of Lean methodology and tools
**Lean Engineer Duties & Responsibilities**
Deliver Lean and Continuous Improvement results utilizing but not limited to:
- value stream mapping
- kaizen
- leader standard work
- material flow
- 5S
- Visual workplace management
- root cause analysis and corrective action
- layered process auditing
- Facilitate and coach smed initiatives
- Lead Daily management process (tier meetings and waste and variation elimination)
- Facilitate problem solving initiatives (5whys, 8D's).
- Analyze lines for constraints and bottlenecks to achieve continuous flow.
- Formulate strategic improvement hypotheses within the A3 Thinking process.
- Facilitate Lean activities and workshops
- Lead 5/6S system and implementation
