Lean Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead Lean Enterprise activities across the site.
• Review operational processes and provide solutions to address safety/ergonomic, quality, cost, and throughput issues.
• Verify that standard work procedures are being followed (work steps and cycle times) and correct deviations as needed.
• Perform staffing and capacity analyses for operations.
• Work on problems of moderate to high complexity, requiring analysis within defined processes and systems to achieve measurable results.
• Identify, define, and develop solutions to issues that are not immediately evident within existing processes and systems.
• Understand customer requirements when making day-to-day decisions and provide feedback or take action when changes in customer requirements occur.
