Job Summary:

At alliantgroup we are seeking a strategic and hands-on Learning and Development Manager with proven experience in designing and delivering training programs within Managed Services MSP environments. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives that enhance employee capabilities across organization, ensure compliance with client-specific standards, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

Training Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement L&D strategies aligned with MSP business goals, focusing on operational excellence, client satisfaction, and compliance.
  • Design and deliver training programs for core finance functions including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), FP&A, Tax & Audit services.
  • Maintain high levels of learner engagement through case studies, role plays, interactive activities and Assessments.

Program Development

  • Create role-based learning paths for associates, team leads, and managers.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to build training content on accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and client-specific processes.

Performance & Impact

  • Monitor training effectiveness using metrics such as productivity, quality scores, SLA adherence, and client feedback.
  • Conduct skill gap analyses and implement targeted interventions to improve performance.

Technology & Tools

  • Manage LMS platforms and digital learning tools to deliver scalable training solutions.
  • Introduce innovative learning formats such as simulations, case studies, and scenario-based learning.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with org leadership, and client teams to identify training needs and ensure alignment with service delivery expectations.
  • Support transitions, migrations, and new client onboarding through customized training programs.

Success Metrics:

  • Reduction in performance gaps post-training
  • Improved SLA/KPI adherence linked to training programs.
  • Reusable, scalable training assets across accounts.

Knowledge & Capability Enablement:

  • Create knowledge repositories, Playbook and best-practice guides.
  • Enable a continuous learning culture across the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or Organizational Development.
  • 8+ years of experience in L&D, with at least 2 years in a MSP or BPO environment.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, compliance requirements, and client service models.
  • Proven ability to create structured training frameworks.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Experience in training delivery across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Proficiency in LMS platforms and content authoring tools.
  • Certified in Instructional Design, Train-the-Trainer, ITIL / Quality/ Agile.


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience managing global training programs across multiple geographies and cultures
