Foothills School Division is seeking a permanent part-time Learning Commons Facilitator for Dr. Morris Gibson School. This role is 0.5 FTE working 16.25 hours per week following the school calendar. Part-time hours will be scheduled on Monday to Friday according to programming and student needs. The successful candidate will be a motivated, self-starting individual responsible for overseeing operation of the school library. As a member of a school based-team, this role will act as a resource to teachers and students in obtaining information and materials. Under the direction of the teacher, this Learning Commons Facilitator will support curricular learning and students with complex needs in the learning commons setting. The ability to establish a good working relationship with parents and community is critical.
