A growing organisation operating nationally is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its commercial team. This opportunity will suit a motivated sales professional who enjoys autonomy, relationship building and winning new business. Working closely with the Director, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys having ownership over their territory and outcomes.
About the Role:
• Manage and grow an established portfolio of key accounts
• Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities
• Build long-term relationships with customers across multiple regions
• Provide technical advice and solutions to clients
• Represent the business at customer meetings, site visits and industry events
• Interstate travel every 4–6 weeks and international travel once per year
About You:
• Proven experience in technical sales or business development
• Background in chemical sales highly regarded - but NOT a must
• Self-motivated, driven and commercially minded
• Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
• Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision
• Experience working in a smaller or growing business beneficial (but not essential)
