Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School (Taunton)

📍 Location: Taunton
💼 Role Type: Full-time, ongoing
💰 Pay: £ per hour (PAYE) / £ per hour (Umbrella)


We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Taunton. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting students with:

  • Trauma-informed approaches

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

  • ADHD

  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

  • Cognition and learning challenges

  • Leading 1:1 or small group interventions

    • Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • At least one child-based reference
