Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a capable primary pupil who requires support with memory and processing difficulties . This role is based in a welcoming primary school in Washington and runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, term‑time only .

The position is due to start once EHCP funding is approved , and as this is an agency role , the school may end the placement at any time depending on need. However, for the right candidate, this is expected to be a long‑term role with the potential to become permanent .
You will support the pupil throughout the school day, providing structure, repetition and tailored strategies to help them remain confident, organised and engaged in learning.
