JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Learning Support Practitioner - teaching qualifications/experience desirable but not essential

Responsible to: Programme Team Lead

Salary: Hourly rate of £12.50-£13.90 per hour

Hours of work: 1 x 18 hours and 1 x 24 hours per week (term time only).

Contract Length: This post is fixed term until August 2026 in the first instance when it is then reviewed based on learner numbers.

Location: Learn2 Cornwall, North Quay, Hayle

  1. Support learners both in the classroom and at work.

  2. Develop and maintain effective relationships with learners that promotes learning and development.

  3. Work with students to identify interests and goals and designing activities that help them to meet these.
