Description

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a highly skilled individual in digital accessibility in course materials to help not only comply with Title II requirements but promote Universal Design for Learning principles throughout the university. Working in the Office of Learning Technologies within the Center for Teaching and Learning, the specialist will lead the office's efforts to assist faculty and academic units with ensuring course materials are fully accessible as well as provide training on best practices. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Functions as the secondary administrator of the Canvas-embedded tool for auditing online courses for accessibility issues. 
  • Monitors course audits.
