Least Restrictive Environment

The Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) Technical Assistance (TA) Coordinator will co-lead monitoring activities specific to the MDE OSE Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) Capacity Building and Improvement Effort.  The LRE TA Coordinator will support a system-level improvement effort through an in-depth analysis of Intermediate School District (ISD) data collected, utilizing statewide technical assistance resources as applicable to identified areas of improvement. The LRE TA Coordinator will lead a cohort of nine to ten ISDs.  The FAPE in the LRE Capacity Building and Improvement Effort is designed to be a six-year monitoring cycle to assess the ISD General Supervision System.
